Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has challenged veteran musician Terry G to a celebrity boxing match, saying the fight would help revive the older artiste’s career.
Portable threw the challenge on Sunday during an appearance on Channels Television’s Rubbin Minds, where he said he preferred facing fellow entertainers in the ring rather than social media personalities.
According to him, he has no interest in fighting online figures such as VeryDarkMan or Carter Efe, insisting that his focus is on celebrity boxing involving entertainers.
The singer also described himself as the pioneer of celebrity boxing in Nigeria, claiming he had made millions of naira from his previous bouts.
Portable further expressed confidence ahead of his scheduled rematch with actor Charles Okocha on July 31 in Lagos, predicting the contest would attract a large audience.
He added that a victory over Terry G would mark the beginning of an international tour, with planned visits to London, the United States, Russia, Malaysia, Dubai and South Africa.
