Davido, Tems, Wizkid set to lead AfroPlus Fest 2026 in U.S.

Nigerian music stars Davido, Tems and Wizkid have been confirmed as headline acts for the 2026 edition of AfroPlus Fest, scheduled to take place from Sept. 4 to 6 at the Washington Commanders’ stadium grounds in Maryland, United States.

The organisers unveiled the lineup via the festival’s official Instagram page, announcing that Davido will headline the opening night on Sept. 4, Tems will take centre stage on Sept. 5, while Wizkid will wrap up the three-day event on Sept. 6.

The festival, which coincides with the U.S. Labor Day weekend, will also feature performances by Nigerian stars Tiwa Savage, Ayra Starr and Olamide.

Other international acts on the bill include American rappers Lil Baby, Latto, Sexyy Red and Chief Keef, as well as Jamaican dancehall artiste Alkaline.

AfroPlus Fest returns for its second edition after making its debut as a one-day event in Washington, D.C., in August 2025, where organisers said it attracted about 20,000 attendees.

The announcement has generated excitement among music lovers on social media, with many celebrating the inclusion of Davido, Tems and Wizkid on the same stage and describing the lineup as another significant moment in the global rise of Afrobeats.
